Richard S. Webb, IV is a shareholder in the firm and concentrates his practice in real estate law, business law and manufactured housing/ mobile home law. Mr. Webb has received the “AV” rating, the highest rating available, from Martindale-Hubbell, which is recognized as the most respected source of authoritative and dependable information about members of the legal community and is based upon peer review ratings by other lawyers and the judiciary.

Mr. Webb has represented clients in complex real estate and business matters in Florida since 1977, handling regulatory and administrative law issues, business formations, transactions, financings and land use issues. Mr. Webb has co-authored the chapter entitled “Mobile Home Parks” in the Florida Real Property Complex Transactions, a continuing legal education manual published by The Florida Bar (3rd, 4th and 5th Editions). Mr. Webb is also a member of the Florida Manufactured Housing Association.

Mr. Webb has extensive experience in the representation of clients in the purchase, sale, operation and financing of all types of commercial real estate, including manufactured housing communities, self storage facilities, office, retail, hotel and other commercial projects. Mr. Webb also serves as title insurance agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, Old Republic Title Insurance Company and Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Inc. Mr. Webb is a past chairman of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for the 12th Judicial Circuit and was a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve (JAG).

Mr. Webb has served as chairman of Sun Coast Mental Health Center, Inc. and as legal advisor to The John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art and the Sarasota Art Association, among other civic organizations.

Mr. Webb is a 1970 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in business administration and a 1973 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. Mr. Webb has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1977. Mr. Webb is also a member of the Kentucky Bar and has been admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th, 6th and 11th Circuits.
