James E. Aker

James E. Aker is a seasoned litigator who represents clients in employment disputes (including wrongful termination and discrimination), personal injury and wrongful death and other general civil litigation matters. Mr. Aker brings over twenty years of trial experience to his legal practice, negotiating settlements in cases that can be settled reasonably and vigorously advocating his clients positions before judges throughout the area in those cases where settlement discussions fail to resolve the disputes.

Mr. Aker is a member of the Florida Bar Association and admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Aker graduated Order of the Coif with honors from the University of Florida School of Law in 1970. He served as an Executive Editor and member of the Florida Law Review. He earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1966 and a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from DePauw University in 1964.
